6/25/2002  [  School terms  ]

Well i am very curious about these photos Richard told me about.
Unfortunately i don't have the amount of cash (about 100 euro) Richard needs for his school fees. I am glad his parents were able to lent some money!

So if you do have some (webdesign)work for me or want to donate please let me know!

6/24/2002  [  New pictures are coming!  ]

(The internet does not work often here in Tamale.)

The camera you send me was with my brother before we went for the tour, so i was very sad for not having it with me on our tour.
So i and my friend tried and got a camera for the tour but it could not make nice pictures. It was a solar camera. I then made nice pictures from the north only and more to the point that camera's batteries are not easy to to find , so i was very excited when i recieved the batteries you sent.

My elder brother has gone to the village to get nice picturtes of the farmers.
Right now it does not rain any more but in july, august it will start raining often. So that the plant will start germinating well. The local rice farmers will start farming by next mouth.

Tamale is quite great and things are cool but we are still under the curfew for another one mouth.
It is the biggest city in ghana as you know and they are many languages spoken. I speak about 6 languages but Dagbani is the main language spoken in the north.

The main occupation of the people of the north is farming. They plant maize, millet, sheanut and yam.

Schooling is quite great for me. I told my parents what happened so they lent some money for the terms. They told that when ever you send me money for the school dues they will return it.

How is work going? I believe and pray that work is moving on successfully with you.

I hope you are enjoying the fifa world cup tournament; it is great!

I wiil send the pictures very soon,

4/4/2002  [  Curfew  ]

How are you doing? I hope you are doing great. Thank you tremendously for the money. I had it today and i am so thankful for the kind assistance. I had wanted to send the pictures but there is much going on here. There is a curfew. Our paramount chief has been killed here. Many people are fighting because of chieftaincy affairs. So i pray that they should lift the curfew for me to be able to send you the pictures. Did you hear of it? It is frightening and i am so scared. I have receive the pictures you sent me. I love your pictures as well as the sunflower and the dry cell. I want to still get more nice pictures to you. So i hope i will be sending it to you soon. The internet here really cost much but i usually manage to e-mail you. I will go for now and will e-mail you soon.
